Description

Leave the village of Sapeira from its lower side. The trail slopes down to the abandoned village of Orrit. At some point, the train will cross the paved road and will follow along it to Pont d'Orrit. The trail can be walked without any problem except for some stages where the reddish clay ground has suffered some erosion. Close to Orrit, you will find dry-stone walls at both sides of the trail, now wider, that will help you to find your way to the village of Orrit. You will pass by houses in ruins and finally reach the hermitage, where the trail goes down to Pont d’Orrit.
