Description

The route starts at the Information desk located at Capdella’s viewpoint. From there, follow the road until you get to a curve where the old path departs. The path follows the channel that carries the water from Capdella to the hydroelectric power station. In the last part of the route, you will see a 800-metre pipe that carries the water from the reservoir to the power station as well as over the old cable car railway that goes up in parallel with the pipe.
If you leave the railway of the old cable car, you can also see the first power station, called “the little station”, which was used to build Capdella’s power station. Both of them are still in use. The route ends up just next to Capdella’s Hydroelectric Museum and Hydroelectric power station.
