Description

The site of Sant Martí de les Tombetes is remarkable by its singularity and its historical and heritage importance. It is located in the village of Moror, within the municipality of Sant Esteve de la Sarga, occupying a 800 m high summit. Here you can find the remains of an ancient Iberian-Roman fortification, a magnificent necropolis of the late Ancient Rome, containing about 20 tombs dug in the rock, and a series of terraces where the nearby settlement was located.

This necropolis is one of the most remarkable burial complexes of the Ancient times in Catalonia.
