SANT JOSEP OIL MILL

Description

The oil mill building reminds the structure of a Romanesque church. The old building was restored in the 1990s using noble materials to maintain the beauty of the past. There is a double staircase to the first floor where the installation of the old oil mill can be seen. Nowadays the building is completely restored and used for conferences, receptions and art exhibitions. On the ground floor you can find the photographic and documentary archives of the village. The sculpture on the façade is made by Josep Llimona and represents Saint Joseph with the Child. It is nowadays a cultural centre used for multiple purposes.
