Hermitage of Mare de Déu de Fabregada
Description
Dating from the 12th century, this Romanesque building has a nave with a slightly pointed barrel roof, semicircular apse and a small bell gable over the west wall. The whole roof eave is covered with a bevelled moulding. Inside, and arch splits the irregular nave in two sections. The decoration of the door is very simple, with an archivolt and the voussoirs strengthened by a bevelled moulding. The apse has a splayed window, and in front of the west façade there is another one with straight outline.
The walls of the building have flat, regular and considerably big ashlars, except from the ones in the apse which have rougher ashlars irregularly placed.
