Every year the Gathering of Musicians from El Pallars is held in Tremp on Catalan National Day, 11th September.

Diatonic button accordions and other instruments come together to revive the old melodies and traditional dances, which in many cases would be forgotten and lost were it not that the handing down of traditions from parents to children and the love of music means that this type of musical event is held year after year.
